Output
The responses, with normal output, will be d isplayed on a test-by-tes t basis with
one line of data displaye d for each test result. With the failures option only the
tests that have failed will be d isplayed.
The following output fields are for the ALARM ENTRY section:

Trunk
(group) "Entry must be all digits"
"Group not assigned, or group assigned but with
no member"
Trunk
(member) "Entry must be all digits"
"Number invalid""
"Group member not assigned"
"Trunk or trunk group invalid"
Port The location of the alarmed objec t (cabinet-carrier-slot-c ircuit). This is
the same identifier as used b y the alarm log.
Maintenance
Name The logical name of the maintenance ob ject which has been alarmed .
On Board Whether the fault detected is on the assoc iated circuit p ack, or an off
board element connec ted to the circuit p ack.
Alt Name Terminal extension numbers or trunk group n umbers.
Alarm Type Major, Minor, or Warning. This is an indicator to the seriousness of the
alarm raised.
Service
State RDY (ready for service), OUT (out of servi ce), or IN (in se rv ice). T h is is
the current service state of the station an d trunk ports shown.
Ack The columns under the “1” and “2” heading s denote if the alarm has
been acknowledg ed by the first and second OSS telephone numbers,
respectively.
Date Alarmed Day, hour, and minute of alarm.
Alarm Count This field contains the count of the c urrent alarm entry verses the total
number of alarms to be tested .
Port The port address (cab inet-carrier-slot-circuit) o f the maintenance object
that is being tested.
Maintenance
Name The type of maintenance objec t that is being tested.
