MET Line Station Audits Test (#61)
This is a series of three tests that are classified as audi ts. These audits will abort
if attempted on an out-of-servic e station. Although this test will never actu ally
return a fail result (except for the internal system error), it is p ossible that it will
enter error types 257 (over current) or 513 (open circuit) into the error l og. To
determine if there are any problems that do not show up in the test result, look fo r
these error types in the error log. If these errors appear in the error log or if user
complaints still exist, investig ate by using other c ircuit pack tests and by
examining the station, the wiring, and the connections. The tests are as follows:
Switc hhook Audi t This is an up date of th e SPE rec ords acc ord ing t o the
circuit packs’ records.
Bad Scan Inquiry A message is sent upl ink that contains a count that is
generated due to c ertain events relating to the link
conditions. This is an indic ation of data transmission
problems between the MET Line circ uit pack and the
voice terminal.
EPF Inquiry The status of the Electronic Power Feed is sent uplink.
Possible conditions are: EPF-on-ok, EPF-off, EPF-no-load,
and EPF-on-overcurrent.
