Replacing the Top Temperature Sensor
The top temperature sensors are located at the top rear of the cabinet in some
cabinets. On these cab inets, the tape shelf is located on the rear door, at the
bottom.
1. From the rear of the cabinet, remove the screws hold ing the top
temperature sensor.
2. Replace the sensor with a new one using the screws removed above.
3. Route the cable along the pa th of the existing sensor cab le.
4. Unplug the cab le on the defective sensor a nd replace with the p lug on the
new sensor.
5. Remove the old sensor from the cabinet.

Always investigate tests in the order p resented in the table b elow. By clearing
error codes associated with one test, you may also clear errors gener ated from
later tests in the sequence.
