w. Error 3585 indicates that a Packet bus failure has b een detected and that
the Packet bus is alarmed. Refer to the Packet Bus maintena nce
documentation for further ac tion.
x. Error 3841 indicates that the Packet Interface c ircuit pack has rep orted a
fatal fault failure condition that may b e caused by a Packet Bus failure on
the Processor Port Network.
1. If error 3585 has also been reported , refer to the maintenance
documentation for PKT (Packet Bus) maintenance. After the Packet
Bus failure has been corrected, execute the reset packet-interface
command to bring the Packet Interface circuit b ack into service.
2. If error 3585 has not been reported , enter the reset
packet-interface command and f ollow the repair steps associated
with test #889.

Always investigate tests in the order p resented in the table belo w. By clearing
error codes associated with the
Packet Interface Private Looparound
test for
example, you may also clear errors g enerated from other tests in the testing
sequence.

a. This test is run only on a Packet Interface circ uit pack on an active SPE.
