In the course of execution of a test ha rdware-group command, it may be
desirable to halt the test temp orarily or permanently. This is accomplished by
either the cancel hardware-group command for a b ackground test, or by
pressing Cancel for a foreground test. Resume hardware-group enables you to
restart the hardware group test at the point whe re it was canceled. This capab ility
is not available if another hardware g roup test has been started. The status of a
hardware group test can b e obtained with status hardware-group.
When test hardware-group all-ports is canceled, the internally g enerated port
translations for previously untranslated po rts are removed. If resume
hardware-group is then entered, only customer-ad ministered ports will then be
tested. resume does
not
reinstate the port translations that were removed b y
cancellation of the test.
Output
When a test that was executing in the bac kground is resumed, a suc cess
message is displayed . When a test that was executing in the foreground is
resumed, test results are displayed.
