Aud Does it have the required aud io capability? - y, c, e, blank
y the endpoint has the requir ed audio capa bility. Audio add -on
endpoint always have the Aud field set to y once the end point has
joined the conference.
c this endpoint is PCM only and it c hanged the video q uality of the
conference by c hanging the operating audio from G.728 to G.711. If
the administered audio mo de is auto and the administered bandwidth
is 112 kbps (56 k/chan nel) or 128 kbps (64 k/channel) , the system
starts out with the highest common aud io of G.728. When the
administered band width is greater than 128 kbp s, the system starts out
with the highest common b andwidth of 7 kHz.
e A PCM-only endpoint that did not have the capa bility of supporting
the administered audio mod e of G.728 (such as a data c onference), or
G. 278/G.711 endpoint that d id not have the capab ility of supporting
the administered audio mo de of 7 kHz. Such endpoints o perate with
PCM audio and interwork with the current op erating audio mode.
blank the field is blank until the first c all is made from/to the endp oint.
Vid Does i t h a v e t h e requi r e d v i de o ca pa bility a n d i s r e ce iving video? - y, c,
e, n, blank
y the endpoint has th e required video capability and should be
receiving video if the Chl , Aud, and Dat fields are y.
c means it downgraded the conference’s vid eo quality - either from CIF
to ACIF or by decreasing the frame rate. The conference video mod e is
set by default to CIF and if a QCIF-only end point joins the conference,
then the entire conference is mad e to operate in QCIF, with the video
clarity downgrad ed. Also, the conference frame rate is initially set to the
highest frame rate that can then b e reduced by any e ndpoint. If the
conference video mod e is not administered with up grade cap ability,
then if the video parameters for a c onference have been
“downgrad ed,” they are not “up graded” u ntil all endpoints disc onnect
from the conference.
e means that the endpoint has not d eclared any video c apability in its
cap-set.
n means audio only, not receiving video, possib ly due to an audio or
data problem.
blank Audio add-on endpoint always have the Vid field set to blank.
Mlp The state of the Control Link to the ESM (T.120 stack terminator), the
endpoint MLP data cap ability, and the state of the d ata connection in
the T.120 stack. This field value is always blank, indic ating that the
Data Mode for the conference is none, and therefore, the data does not
apply, or the endp oint has never joined the conferenc e.
