Backing Up Data: MSS Commands
Several commands are available for c opying files from system memory to the
MSS, and for copying files from one MSS device to ano ther. They are
summarized in the following table . Refer to Chapter 8, for complete desc riptions
and additional op tions for these commands.
The following commands are not used in normal backup or maintenance
procedures. They are sometimes useful in spec ial situations such as software
updates or resolving specific file inconsistencies between devic es.
