busyout journal-printer
busyout journal-printer pms-log | wakeup-log
The busyout journal-printer comm and puts the link to the Property
Management System log or wakeup log printers in a maintenance b usy state.
(See Busyout and Release Commands at the beg inning of this chapter). When
busied out, the link is drop ped and no d ata transfer can take place over it.
This command can be used to prevent unwanted interferenc e between different
maintenance processes. Maintenan ce software may put a component t hat is part
of a link in a busy state, causing link set-up to fail, and resulting in attempts by
the system to reestablish the link. If a maintenanc e test requires that the
component be id le, frequent attempts at re-setup may d elay the recovery of a
faulty component. Busying out the link will prevent re-setup attempts.
