NOTE:
This command is valid only on a Hig h Reliability system with a Center Stage
Switc h (du pli cate d SPE, si mpl ex PNC) . In th is c onfig urat ion, SNCs are
duplicated on each switch node c arrier.
Parameters
set synchronization
This command sets a speci fic DS1 trunk, tone-clock c ircuit pack, or ATM switch
as the reference source for system synchronization signals. It is permitted only
after synchronization has been d isabled with disable synch. Any ad ministered
DS1 trunk or
active
tone-clock may be entered with the set command. The DS1
or tone-clock will remain the synchronization reference until either the set
command spec ifies another circuit p ack, or enable synchronization is entered.
After an enable synchronization, the administered p rimary or secondary
synchronization source will bec ome the synchronization reference. If no p rimary
or secondary source is ad ministered, the active tone-c lock is used as the
synchronization reference.
NOTE:
This command is not suppor ted when ATM-PNC is enabled.
