3. When all the components are alarm free, wait for 3 minutes to allo w the
links to recover.
4. Test the system link (test sys-link PCSSpp long clear) and notice any
tests that fail.
5. If there are any failures, fix the problems indicated by the tests and repeat
the procedure.
Error Log Entries and Test to Clear Values
Notes:
a. This error indicates that the link went down. The link may have g one down
or never come up. Enter command status sys-link location and check
the value of the Faulted Path field. If the value is default, then the link
never came up. If the value is present, then the lin k came up and then
went down.
1. Follow the information in the ‘‘Common Procedure for Repairing
Link Problems’’ section above.
2. Wait for 3-5 min. before checking the link stat e.
3. Repeat the procedure until there are no p roblems with the
components.
b. This error indicates that the link has exp erienced uplink flow control.
Manifest effect of this error is that the end-p oint may be hyperactive. The
system link is alarmed if 4 or more errors of this typ e are detected within
10 min.
