q. Error Type 2561: ATM-E I 2-way Transmission Failure (circuit pac k is having
problems creating c onnections to other port netwo rks in the system).
1. Test the ATM-EI circuit pack (test board UUCS S).
2. Follow the repair procedures sugg ested for Test #241.
r. Error T ype 2817, 2818: DSP test failure detected along the circuit path o f
the ATM-EI circuit pack.
1. Test the ATM-EI circuit pack (test board UUCS S).
2. Follow the repair procedures sugg ested for Test #1258.
s. Error Type 3329: on-board LANHO chip is insane, possib ly due to a
problem in Packet Bus arbitration , the transmission line frame, or the
circuit pack its elf. The circuit pack c annot talk to the packet bus.
If the packet bus is alar med:
1. Resolve PKT-BUS errors, if any. The probab ility of this error being
related to Packet bus prob lem increases with the number of other
circuit packs u sing the Packet bus that are also dis playing this
error.
If the Packet Bus is
not
alarmed:
1. Reset the circuit pack (reset board UUCSS).
2. If the problem persists, replac e the ATM-EI circuit pack.
If the system has a duplica ted PNC, and the in-line error received is from
an active ATM-EI, the system switches to the standby PNC.
!CAUTION:
If the system does not have dup licated PNC, services to the EPN could be disrupted.
