e. An on-board hardware failure has b een detected b y the circuit pac k.
The reported aux data values c orrespond to the following d etected errors:
Reset the circuit pack b y executing the busyout board UUCSS and reset
board UUCSS commands. When it is reset, the circ uit pack executes a
set of tests to detect the presenc e of any of the above faults. The detection
of one of these errors during initialization c auses the circuit pac k to
lock-up and ap pear insane to the system. See the repair proc edure in
footnote (a) for error type 1.
f. This error is reported by the circ uit pack when it de tects a program log ic
error. While no action is required, this error may lead to errors of other
types being rep orted against this c ircuit pack.
g. This error is reported by the c ircuit pack when it c annot update NPE
memory and read it bac k. This error type can be ignored , but may lead to
errors of other types being rep orted against this c ircuit pack.
h. A critical hardware failure has b een detected on the c ircuit pack. Reset
the circuit pac k via the busyout board UUCSS and reset board UUCSS
commands. If the Circuit Pack Restart Test (#594) passes, then the
on-board circuitry is healthy. Retire the alarm via the test board UUCSS
long clear command. If the Circuit Pack Restart Test (#594) fails, replace
the circuit pac k.
The reported error types corresp ond to the following detec ted errors:
4352 External RAM error
4353 Internal RAM error
4355 ROM Checksum error
4357 Instruction set error
1293 On-board auxiliary
processor insane
1294 Internal memory
