If an International Consolidation circ uit pack is inserted i nto a Category A system
with the Location field set to 1, the c ircuit pack cann ot operate properly, and the
system generates a major alarm (Error Code 276).
How to use the Maintenance book
This procedure begin s with the system raising an alarm against a Maint enance
Object (MO), a software module that monitors the components of a circ uit pack.
These components can incl ude:
Hardware
System (processor) availability and conditions
Presence of and physical c onnections (copp er, fiber) to other
components
Presence of certain signals (sync hronization, DS1) within specific
parameters
Environment (power, cabinet tempe rature sensors)
