i. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
EAL. This indicates that one or more Expansion Archang el Links are down.
Investigate any EXP-PN alarms. Adding 1 to the last two digit s of the error
code gives the PN number of the port network that reported the ala rm.
(11003 points to port network 4.) List config port-network g ives the
cabinet number assoc iated with a port network.
j. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
INL. This indicates that one or more neighb or or indirect neighb or links
with an EI as an endpoint have experienc ed faults. Investigate any alarms
agai nst EXP-PN a nd SN- CONF. A ddin g 1 to the las t two d igi ts of th e error
code gives the PN number of the port network that reported the ala rm.
(11103 points to port network 4.) List config port-network g ives the
cabinet number assoc iated with a port network.
k. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
HW. This indicates that one or more neighbor or ind irect neighbor links
with an EI as an endpoint have experienc ed faults. Investigate any alarms
agai nst EXP-PN a nd SN- CONF. A ddin g 1 to the las t two d igi ts of th e error
code gives the PN number of the port network that reported the ala rm.
(11203 points to port network 4.) List config port-network g ives the
cabinet number assoc iated with a port network.
l. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
PER. This indicates one or more faults on peer links that connect SNIs to
EIs. In vestig ate a ny alar ms ag ainst SNI-PEER. Ad din g 1 to t he las t two
digits of the error cod e gives the PN number of the port network that
reported the alarm. (11303 p oints to port network 4.) List config
port-network gives the cabinet numb er associated with a port ne twork.
m. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
DS1. This indicates faults on one or more DS1C facilities. Investigate a ny
alarms against DS1-FAC. Adding 1 to the last two d igits of the error code
gives the PN number of the port network th at reported the alarm. (11403
points to port network 4.) List config port-network gives the cab inet
number associated with a p ort network.
n. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
SNIL. This indicates one or more faults on peer or neighb or links between
SNIs on different switch nodes. Investigate a ny alarms against SNI-PEER.
The last two digits of the error cod e indicate the fiber-link numb er (01-27)
of the fiber that reported the retired alarm. List fiber-link gives the
location of the fiber.
o. A spontaneous PNC interchange took p lace in response to the oc currence
of a major or minor alarm on the A-PNC associated with fau lt class FC_
SNIHW. This indicates one or more faults on hardware connecting SNIs on
