1. The external synchronization reference being used is a p rimary reference, a secondary reference, or
the external stratum 3 clock when the Tone-Clock is in the master port network. The external
synchronization reference used in a slave port network is the Expansion Interface circuit pack.
active This light pattern indicates that an external
timing source is b e ing used as a
synchronization referenc e.

is being used as a synchronization reference.

been reset but has not been told which

nor supplying c locks).
