From Display alarm records f rom the time specified b y mm/dd/hh/mm, where
mm is the month, dd is the d ay, hh is the hour and mm is the minute. If no
“from” date is entered , then no checking is done. This will give the user
all the alarms active since a month p rior to the current time.

date is entered, any alarm whic h is active after the from date will b e
selected.
Equipment
Type The technician can choos e between seven different eq uipment types. If
there is no input to any of these fields, the s ystem will default to all the
equipment. The user can selec t one of the following fields:
Cabinet: This allows the technician to d isplay all alarms associa ted
with a particular ca binet. Alarms for a cabi net are referenced by a
number ranging from 1 to 3 whic h is assigned d uring cabinet
administration.
Port Network: This allows the technician to disp lay all alarms
associated with a part icular port network. Alarms for a port network
are referenced by a number ranging from 1 to 3.
Board Number: This allows the technic ian to choose all alarms
associated with a part icular circuit p ack for display. Alarms for a
(cabinet-carrier-slot). If the cabinet number is om itted, the system will
default to 1.
Port: This allows the technician to choose all alarm s associated with
a particular por t on a circuit pac k for display. Alarms for a port c ircuit
are referenced by port location (cabinet-c arrier-slot-circuit). If the
cabinet number is omitted , the system will default to 1.
Category: Alarms for a partic ular equipment categ ory.
Extension: Alarms associated with an extension numb er.
Trunk (group/member): The technician can choose to view all alarms
associated with a par ticular trunk group or trunk g roup member. The
group identifier should be entered to view all alarms assoc iated with
a trun k gro up XXX/___. The gr oup i dent ifie r and memb er id enti fier
should both be entered to view all alarms associated with a specific
trunk grou p mem ber XXX/XXX.
