number 03 can be entered as 3.
Pressing the HELP key displays all available commands. If an incomplete
command is entered, pressi ng HELP displa ys all valid qualifiers for the command.
NOTE:
When the successful execution of a command is prevented, an error
message that is usually self-explana tory displays. If the following message
appears, the software is most likely c orrupt:
Error encountered; can’t complete request
In this case, follow normal escalatio n procedures.
Common Input Parameters
Characters in bold typ e are entered literally on the command line. Characters in
italic bold type are variables. SeeTab l e 8- 1 for c ommon test command
parameters and their explana tions and for explanations of less c ommon
parameters.
For example, display cabinet requires only the entry of

SS 1-21 One or two-digit number id entifying a circ uit pack slot
on a carrier For many commands relatin g to SPE or EPN
control circuit p acks, this usually defaults to the only
possible slot number.

circuit on circ uit pack The range of this variable differs
