In Use Is the endpoint currently p articipating in the c onference or in process
of connecting to the c onference? - y, c, e, f, n, blank.
y means that the endpoint is in use and is fully connected on all
media in an active confer ence.
c means that the endpoint is in use and is fully connected, however
the endpoint has chang ed the conference aud io or video capabi lity
or has changed the rate of th e conference because of rat e
adaptation. This condition requires analysis of this endpoint’s
capabilities and mode fields to identify which capability was r educed.
e means that the endpoint is in use b ut the endpoint had c apability
problems. The endpoint d oes not have one of the required
capabilities (Vid, Bhl, MLP) to be a full participant. For MLP
capabilities, see the “ T120” field. This condition req uires analysis of
this endpoint’s cap abilities and mode field to identify the missing
capability.
f means that the endpoint is in use b ut is not connected to all med ia.
This indicates that the endpoint has declared all the required
capabilities (c hannel/video/ audio/data) b ut is not fully connected to
all conference media a t this time. This endpoint may be in the
process of connec ting, has failed to connec t, or is not a valid video
source. This condition req uires analysis of this endpoint’s c apabilities
and mode fields to id entify the problem.
n means that the endpoint was co nnected in a conference b ut
has/was disconnected or attempted to connec t to a conference but
was unsuccessful.
blank means the field is blank until the first c all is made from/to the
endpoint.
Enh BAS EnhancedBasic Service Flag - n, y
y means that the endpoint sup ports the enhanced BAS
commands/cap s;
n means that the endpoint only sup ports the basic BAS
commands/cap s.
Chl Data on the quantify and qual ity of channels (transfer rate)? - y, e, n,
blank
y the endpoint has the requi red number of channels.
e means that the endpoint has not dec lared support for the c orrect
number of channels and c annot participate fully in the conference.
n means that the endpoint has d eclared the correct num ber of
channels, but all the chann els have not yet joined the conference,
due to either a network or endp oint problem.
blank Audio add-on endpoints always have the Chl field set to
blank.
