Defaults
All alarms will be displayed.
Parameters
Help Messages
If the technician presses HELP after entering “ display alarms” the fo llowing
message will be displayed:
[’print’ or’schedule’]
Error Messages
If during the execution of a c ommand a resource prob lem occurs that requires
the user to restart the command, then the follow ing message will be dis played:
Command resources busy; Press CANCEL to clear, and then resubmit
If all of the available maintenance resourc es are currently in use, then the
following message will be displayed:
All maintenance resources busy; try again later
From Input
After entering the command display alarms, the system technician will be
presented with an options form.
print This will cause the report to be p rinted if a printer is linked to the SAT.
schedule When the “sched ule” option is spec ified, the command is valid ated and then
a scheduling form is d isplayed to allow the technic ian to schedule execution
of the command. The command is then placed in the c ommand queue and
is executed at the spec ified time. The information displayed by the
command is sent to the system p rinter instead of the screen. Refer to the
Report Scheduler and System Printer feature spec ification [4] for more
details.
There are no parameters entered on the com mand line, parameters are
selected on the hardware alarm report form instead.
Alarm
Types The type of alarm to be displayed is specified by placing a “y” or “n” in
the alarm type fields. The technic ian can choose a combination of active
alarms, major, minor, warning, or resolved alarms.
Interval Display alarm records for the last (m)onth, last (h)our, last (d)ay, last
(w)eek, or (a)ll. The default is all.
