Page 5 - Endpoint Call Status Information
This page summarizes such c all-related status as per-c hannel join counts,
join/drop time, drop reas on, drop code, and auxiliary bonding drop code. In
addition, it contains a d rop code and software fields from the previous call. The
data on the page is always retained . The Endpoint Call Status Information section
groups together all c all-related fields. The only new field in this section is Join
Count; all other fields are describ ed in Screen 8-7 and Screen 8-8.
XR Transfer rate capabilities are statement ab out the speeds at whic h
the endpoint can op erate over the current connec tion and operate a
Px64 Multiplex.
For a 384 kbps (H0) call, the end point sends its cap abilities to
indicate 384 kbps support, which displays as 384. On a 336 kbps
call, the endpoint must signal 384 kbps su pport. If an endpoint does
not indicate supp ort for 384 kbps on a 384/336 kbp s conference, the
MCU provides Audio Only Com munications Mode (ACOM). For a 2B
conference, the MCU sets the rate to 2x64, exp ecting the endp oints
to do likewise (64x2 is displ ayed; if this is not displayed , there is no
64x2 capability). End points may occasionally ta ke 2x64 (or the
current channel rate: 384, 768, 1472, 1536) o ut of their capability.
This is Mode 0 forcing and is part of normal proced ures. The MCU
will provide AOCM if the endp oint does not signal sup port matching
the configuration of the c onference.
AUD The audio fields are statements of the audio protocols that the
endpoint supp orts. 711m and 711a are PCM (G.711) and support Mu
and A-law, respectively, a nd at least one is required of end points.
The g728 field indicates whe ther G.728 is supported (LB_CELP). This
value depends up on the type of the endpoin t and how that endpoint
is currently configur ed. The g722_48 field indic ates endpoint supp ort
for G.722 (7 kHz) at both 48 kbp s and 56 kbps. Therefore, g722_48
indicates that the endpoint supports G.722 audio at both rates. The
g722_64 field indicates end point support for G.722 at 6 4 kbps in an
unframed (not supported by the MCU) mode.
LSD The LSD fields indicate the capab ilities for Low Speed Data
conferencing.
HSD The HSD fields indicate the capabilities for High speed Data
conferencing.
MLP The MLP field s indicate the c apabilities for Multi Layer Protocol Data
capabilities.
HMLP The HMLP fields indicate the conferenc e’s capability for Hig h Speed
MLP data conferencing.
