1. Check for PKT-BUS alarms.
r. Error Type 3585: Major board alarm; failure of critical c omponents involved
in the operation of the circuit p ack. The circuit pac k has failed, and the
switch may no longer reco gnize it.
1. Run test board UUCSS long.
If Then
There is a
packet-bus
alarm.
There is probably a packet-bus problem,
particularly if other circuit packs on the packet bus
report the same error. See the PKT-BUS (Packet
Bus) maintenance object and the packet-bus
fault-isolation and recovery sections of the
maintenance manual for repair procedures.
There are no
packet-bus
alarms.
Run the following command sequence:
busyout board UUCSS
reset board UUCSS.
test board UUCSS long
release board UUCSS
The problem
persists. Replace the ATM-TRK circuit pack.
